Human Resources Software Integration

Integration, as it relates to human resources, occurs when separate products or applications are brought together in such a way that data can be passed from one software application to the other; or, that information can be passed between both software products in a bi-directional fashion. Particularly beneficial types of integrations that assist HR professionals include: an applicant tracking system that automatically posts new job listing announcements to various social networking sites; and, an onboarding software application that can pass basic new hire information to a human resources information system (HRIS software).
