Release Notes: Sticky Apply, Job Management, Application Edit Tools and Reporting Customization
With pumpkin spice season just around the corner, we’re “fall-ing” into even more functionality on the new ExactHire platform! Cheesy reference perhaps, but we can’t help it–we’re excited to announce several updates that will streamline your use of our new hiring software platform! Check out the details below!
Career site functionality
Sticky “Apply” button
When accessing the career site from a mobile device, the “Apply” button is now part of a sticky footer at the bottom of a mobile device’s screen so it’s always available for your applicants to click. This saves job seekers the consideration of having to scroll to the bottom of a career site page to find a means to start the application process. This sticky section also contains the Help Center where job seekers may read through common FAQs. With this update, even more information is right at your applicants’ fingertips!
All open jobs
Job seekers now default to seeing all available jobs on a career site when first accessing the job listings page. They have easy access to immediately filter available job listings by location via options on the left side of the screen; or, by position or employment type using the filter buttons at the top of the job listings.
Job listing management
Job filter location labels
When using the “Jobs” filter to narrow listings on a search results page, such as within the “Jobs” dashboard, the related job location now appears below the job title. This makes it easy to differentiate between jobs that have the same title but a different related location.
Application template
When editing a job listing, there is now an option to choose which employment application version should be presented to job seekers who apply to that particular job listing. It is currently in read-only format, and the ability for users to select the appropriate version is coming soon.
Application template builder
Application edit tools
Within the application template builder, you may save a template as a draft so that you may present it to others before publishing it for live use by applicants.
Additionally, users may now utilize the “Undo” button to revert to the application version that existed at the time of the last saved draft. For example, if you save a draft and then make three different application changes, once you select “Undo” it will undo those three changes.
The application template builder now displays the most recent publish date of the selected application template. This reminds you of the publication date of the live application relative to a draft version you may have saved.
Report updates
Reporting customization
Within the “Jobs” and “Applications” dashboards, you may customize your own reports to include additional insights.
Use existing reports as templates for creating and editing additional reports with the “Save As” option. Also, report data may be exported from ExactHire to a CSV file.
